It is spring-loaded, snapping shut when the flush bolt is retracted and sealing the hole to maintain a clean and functional floor surface.

How it works

• Installation: A stainless steel dust-proof strike is installed into a pre-drilled hole in the floor or threshold.
• Sealing: When the flush bolt on the edge of the door is retracted, the spring-loaded faceplate of the strike snaps shut, creating a seal.
• Protection: This prevents dirt, dust, and debris from accumulating in the bolt's hole, which could cause the bolt to stick or fail over time.
• Function: When the flush bolt is extended, the plunger pushes the strike's faceplate open, allowing the bolt to engage securely in the floor.
